THE ACCUSED recently completed work on the "Why Even Try?" EP with Randall Dunn at a recording facility in Seattle. A new full-length release is planned for later in the year.
The "Why Even Try?" EP marks the debut of the "new" THE ACCUSED lineup, which features Brad Mowen (BURNING WITCH, AVSA, 90 PROOF, MOMMY, SWEATY NIPPLES, APES OF WRATH) on vocals, Mike Peterson (BAM BAM, MOMMY, APES OF WRATH, SEAN) on drums, Prof. Iman A. Phid (formerly "Father Shark" of industrial/metal perverts THE PLEASURE ELITE) on bass and original guitarist Tommy Niemeyer.
THE ACCUSED's first album in over ten years, "Oh, Martha!" was recorded by Jack Endino at Scotty Crane's Soundhouse Studios in Seattle and was mastered by Scott Hull (PIG DESTROYER). The CD, which was originally issued in the U.S. in 2005, was released in Europe via Nuclear Blast Records.
